The population of Montenegro, according to a 2011 estimate made by the Statistical Office of Montenegro, has 620,029 inhabitants, from which 19.2% are of age 0-14 years, 68.1% are 15-64 years, and 65+ with 12.8%.
In regards to religion, Montenegro is very diverse.
Orthodox Christianity – 460,383 (74.24%)
Islam – 110,034 (17.74%)
Roman Catholic – 21,972 (3.54%)
Protestant – 383 (0.06%)
unknown – 5,009 (0.8%)
and the 17,947 refugees which bring diversity at its peak.
