POS is available in most shops, restaurants and other service providers in major cities, whereas cash is also preferred in various areas.

Most commercial banks have ATMs across Montenegro that can be used with international debit and credit cards. Usually ATMs are not hard to find. Visa and MasterCard are mostly accepted.
